Un b&b che è un sogno: curato nei minimi dettagli, una posizione non solo strategica ma comoda a tutto e bella da ogni punto di vista.La zona è inoltre molto sicura anche per ragazze che viaggiano da sole, quieta e piacevole (c'è tutto ciò di cui si può aver bisogno nel raggio di pochi metri!)Il personale è cortesissimo e vi farà sentire...meglio che a casa! I stayed here for 2 nights with my partner... The staff are friendly, the decor and attention to detail is amazing and the location is perfect. We stayed in the 500 room which is big, en suite, has a balcony and flatscreen. Very close to the train station, bus & Metro so easy to access everywhere in Rome. I/ we will def be back and I can recommend this to anyone for their trip to Rome (Roma)

We had our stay in the 500room and it is simply perfect for couples to stay in. Quite romantic and Marco(the host), suprised us with a bottle of his Mok`House wine on the house. We were staying here in August2010 so the air-conditioning kept the room nice temepered on a hot day in Rome. Marco was so kind and helpful with all the questions we had regarding our first stay in Rome. We can easily say that we will return to Mok`House when returning to Rome.

The service Marco provided went beyond what we could have expected. When we got lost on the highways outside of Rome, a kind friend of his led us to our destination. He also kindly called and convinced our rental car agency to accept a late return given our troubles on the roads. All with a smile. We can't wait to spend more time in Rome and at mok'house. And the 500 room is fantastic.

We wanted to experience the "real" Rome and not some chain hotel. Mok'House was wonderful for that. Marko and Andrea are renovating an old apartment building into a B&B, so the entry and hall are run-down looking but our room was beautiful and modern and very comfortable. The guys are splendid hosts who were incredibly welcoming and helpful to us. The neighborhood is full of little places to eat at a table on the sidewalk or enjoy a gelato. It is also in easy walking distance of the major metro, bus and train terminal of Rome, so getting anywhere was a snap. We heartily recommend Mok'House and its hosts.

We stayed at 500 for 3 nights and 1 night prior at Vespa (500 was not available for all 4 nights) therefore we had an overview of both rooms. Both are very nice , but 500 is really a gem! We enjoyed the accommodation immensely and we were very appreciative of our gracious hosts Marco, Andrea and Fabrizio. They were extremely helpful and accommodating. The location couldn't be more convenient - it is close to everything, lively and yet safe. The breakfast arrangement is great! You can have your cornetto and latte out on Merulana Street , mingle with locals during their usual morning coffee routine :) We appreciated the balcony - especially in 500 as it surrounds the whole room. The decor, so often mentioned by everyone , is really cute and original, We loved the combination of old and new, the rooms and bathrooms are spotless. All in all - very good experience - beats the crap out of any boring hotel - it is something like taken straight our of the Roman Vacation :). O! and do not miss the great little restaurant downstairs - you will see it down on the corner just below your balcony - I think it is called La Forchetta - lovely!

What a wonderful place to stay in Rome, we couldn't have asked for better hosts in Marco and Andrea. I just got back from wonderful trip all around Italy and I did stay at the Mok'house in Rome. This place is really nice, the location is very central but in a quite area and it is very nice to walk around there. The rooms are brand new and the staff is really welcoming and willing to give useful information about the city sightseeing, restaurants etc. I did enjoy my stay there very much and I will go back there again!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Mok House for 3 nights during April. I was very pleased with our room, which was the "500" room. It is tastefully furnished in a really funky Fiat 500 style! Very Italian! Marco was great from the beginning, responding really quickly to my emails, securing our booking. His colleagues were waiting to welcome us on our arrival, who were great as we arrived early so they hurried the cleaner up to get the room ready for us! The location was a 10 min walk from the Termini station, 2 mins from Santa Maria Maggoire, and about 15 mins to the Colloseo & Roman Forum. If you want to visit Piazza Novona then its about a half hour walk, or just get the metro to the colloseo or Spanish Steps and walk over. For breakfast you are given vouchers which you use at a local cafe were the cakes were amazing! Overall I was extremely happy with our stay at Mok House and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here. If I was to be picky, then the only thing I could point out was the towels were not changed during our stay, although we were given a good supply at the start!. Rome is a beautiful City with so much to see, so much that we will certainly return and Im sure will stay at MoK House again. Thanks for a great stay guys.

Mok'house worked perfectly for us during our trip to Rome. We stayed a week with a 1 and 3 year old. Marco and Andrea were wonderful providing us tips. The location was perfect. We were within a couple of blocks of both the train station (perfect for day trips) and a metro stop. There was also a well stocked grocery store around the corner. The neighborhood was very safe and really gave us a sense of living in Roma! Highly recommended!

We did really have a great stay in Rome, and we did really have a great time in Mok'house. The room was really nice and completly clean. Marco & Andrea were really nice to us helping with advises of places to visit and authentic and cheap restaurants in the nearby. The location is just perfect to see things on foot! If we had to come back to Rome, we would not look for anything else and we can advice this nice place to anybody!!! Thanks a lot for making our stay really like at home!!!

Thanks to Marco and Company we had a great time at Mok'house. I took my wife and three children and was worried that we would have safety issues. That never happened. From the momment we arrived Marco had Emmanuele pick us up from the Airport. He brought us back. Helped us unload our luggage with Marcos help. (It is silly to hire a taxi or pay for the train with all the hassle you have to go through, the 65 Euros we paid Emmanuelle was a bargain. Trust Me!) We settled in easily at Mok'house. Very cute little flat and immaculately clean. My wife and I loved the fact that Marco not only lives in the apartment above Mok'house... He has his office right next to us and we felt very safe He made himself very available. Gave us his cell. Cute Mom and Pop Store across the street with bakery. Deli and restaurants 30 feet away. 5 Minutes to one of the most beautiful churches i have ever been in Santa Maria Maggiore. Marco hired us an excellent tour guide, She is fantastic and so very knowledgeable. I regret not having more time with her but if anyone needs or is curious about a guide please ask for Simona Pellegrini. She is a crackerjack tour guide. You won't regret the experience. You wont regret anything about Mok'house except the day you have to leave. Thanks Marco!!!!!!

Appartement très bien situé, au premier étage, dans une petite rue très calme entre la Stazione Termini et le Colisée. Le quartier est très agréable, très authentique (Rione Monti). On trouve supermarché, boulangerie, restaurants à proximité immédiate. L'appartement est spacieux, très propre et décoré avec goût. Bon équipement, literie confortable et surtout accueil très cordial : Marco nous a conseillé et a tout fait pour nous rendre ce séjour très agréable.

My partner and I just returned from a 6-week stay at Mok'house and had a terrific experience. We were in Rome looking for an apartment to get ready to relocate there for 2 years, and Mok'House ended up being the ideal base. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment that is in the same building as the bed and breakfast. It was clean and tastefully decorated. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, but had a very open and uncluttered feel. Given the coffee theme, it of course had a very effective espresso maker as well. For those who like to cook, the apartment is in a great location, very close to the large Esquilino Market, where you can get any produce, spices, and meat you can imagine. Or, there are plenty of other food options in the neighborhood. A family run trattoria (La Forchetta) is literally across the street. The Roman standbys are all very good, and the friendly owner was greeting us on the street by the time we left. Also across the street is a bakery where you can get prepared dishes, cheese, wine, etc. Lots of other places nearby (the pizza rustica at Europa around the corner is very good). The famous Trattoria Monti is a few blocks away. The location is ideal for exploring. Good access to the metro and buses (the main train station is very close by). And there is much within walking distance (the Santa Maria Maggiore church, San Giovani, the colosseum). The Monti neighborhood is very charming. The managers (Marco and Andrea) are just a delight. Very friendly guys who will do just about anything to help you out. They are there on site most of the day (their office is right next to the apartment). Like in the rest of Rome, there is street noise from the restaurants and the pub on the street. Though the upside of this location is that the street itself is quite narrow, so there's very little car or scooter traffic and no buses. All in all, we couldn't have been happier with our stay.

I normally don't write reviews but this place was wonderful. It is close to everything! The room we stayed in was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and we even had a beautiful balcony to enjoy. I am told the each room is a bit different. I can't wait to make my way back to Roma to see a different room!

It was splendid to have stayed in such a very accessible centrally-located bed and breakfast. Everything is just walking distance to some historical sites and gastronomical restaurants. The room was small but very clean. The bathroom is very clean too. Wi-fi connection is good. The only problem was that we have to climb 8 flights of stairs (we're on the fourth floor)coz there's no elevator. Many thanks to Marco and Andrea for they were the ones who carry our 6 big heavy luggages all the way up and all the way down when we left after 3 days of stay there. They were very helpful and accommodating. Climbing the stairs had been a good excercise for us. Many thanks to Marco and Andrea again. More power to Mok House!

I stayed in Mok'House for only one night, since I unfortunetely had less than 24 hours in Rome. But it was incredible how close to everyone of the major atractions of the city this cute little charming hotel is. Service is unbelivebly personal and so attentive to all the details. I stayed at the Vespa room, which althought the tiniest, is just as thought-thru as all the others. I strongly recommend Mok'House, no matter if you're look for a romantic space, a place to crash with friends or family, or even going by yourself and enjoying the city alone.

After spending a few months in Rome last year, I decided to come back to spend a few years and may be my life in Rome...and I was so lucky to find Marco and Andrea, the 2 managers of MOK'HOUSE. The B&B is right in the heart of Rome: very close to everything, walking distance from the monuments and 1 block from all public transport you may need in Rome! I slept in this charming B&B, over 1 month and everything was perfect: the rooms (I slept in both rooms) very clean and very comfortable, the breakfast, their help in anything I needed. I strongly suggest this B&B to anyone going to Rome. I will send all my relatives and friends visiting me here in Rome in the next months.

Amoureux de Rome, j'ai rarement eu l'occasion de trouver un hébergement de cette qualité:accueil, service, qualité de la chambre et de ses prestations...Rien à redire. On est au top, avec un coût tout à fait raisonnable pour Rome. A 2 pas du Colosseo et autres sites historiques. A 2 pas d'un pub pour amateurs de rugby. A 2 pas d'un resto typique romain où on ne croise pas tous les touristes beaufs. Bref, un établissement que je recommande fortement...Forza Mok'House!

We had a lovely stay at Mok'House! Marco answered all of my emails very promptly and made the whole process very easy. It's centrally located in Rome, with easy access to the metro, about a 5 minute walk. The neighborhood felt very safe. The room was pleasantly decorated and clean. I did a lot of research before I left for Italy, and cleanliness is the most important factor for me. The bathroom was also very clean. Rooms in Rome can be very expensive, but this place is a great value in a great location. They even helped us book a reservation for Galleria de Borghese (my FAVORITE museum in Rome!!!) I wish I would have taken a photo of our room to post. They have wireless internet, which is great for those traveling with a lap top - my boyfriend can't leave home without it. Andrea, who met us when we arrived was very nice and helpful. Part of what makes a great trip are the people you encounter. The guys who run Mok'House are a great group of guys who really care about your stay.

We lived in Mocohouse (Rome) since 24/08/08 to 29/08/08. It was amazing! This apartments are in the historycle center of the city itself in 10 minutes by walk from Coleseum and other places of interest. Rooms were very sweet & fresh disigned. Marco & Sergio were very polite with us and all that tey did was very helpful. We recomend everyone to stay only in Mocohouse if you deside ti visit this presious town. Giudizio altamente positivo. Il locale è accogliente, arredato con gusto e originalità, pulito, dispone di tutto quello che serve per una vacanza. E' situato molto bene, a pochi minuti dalla stazione Termini ma in un angolo suggestivo e tranquillo della città; davanti c'è una piccola trattoria dove si mangia bene a prezzi contenuti. Pertanto ancora un grazie a Marco e Sergio per la loro accoglienza e ospitalità

Hello Marco and Hello all! It was a pleasure to stay at mok'house and I received an incredible and warm welcome by mok'house home and staff. Marco gave me the feeling of being at home at first sight and it was simply great! Mok'house is full of comfortble spaces and useful tools for a long or short-term stay. Outside any windows or balcony you feel the "touch of Rome", culture and customs...perfect for a leisure, romantic or working stay. Any room, lights and assets seemed holding you and I felt truly part of Rome! I went there 1 week ago and I had great time, everything is so close, everything was so kind...Rome in your hand and Mok'house gave me an in-depth overview! Cheers to all , thanks Marco&Sergio, Luke

Traveling through several countries in Europe, my wife and I stayed in numerous hotels, B&B's and vacation rental properties and are happy to say mok'house was a highlight on our trip. Mok’house is a large, bright, modern apt which is smartly decorated to make you feel both at home and part of Rome's community. It is conveniently located in a safe area within easy walking distance to transportation, great restaurants and shopping, and is close to many of Rome's attractions. I would like to add that being unfamiliar with Rome we greatly appreciated Marco’s and Sergio's exceptional hospitality, helpfulness and courteous attention to us as visitors in their city. If you go to Rome, mok'house is a great place to stay!

Nous avons jeté une pièce dans la fontaine de Trévi comme le veut la coutume pour espérer revenir à Rome dans l’année et c’est assurément dans ce joli appartement très confortable que nous reviendrons. Il est décoré avec soin, les pièces sont spacieuses et tout y a été pensé jusqu’à la planche à repasser (clin d’œil à Sergio qui pensait que je voulais repasser pendant mes vacances) ou du parapluie en cas de mauvais temps. Idéalement situé, nous avons tout pu faire à pied bien qu’étant accompagné d’enfants encore jeunes. Un office du tourisme se trouve également à deux pas ainsi qu’une petite trattoria dans la rue d’en face qui vous servira de très bonnes spaghetti à la carbonara pour un prix plus qu’abordable. Enfin l’accueil très chaleureux et amical de Sergio et de Marco fait que le séjour fût d’une qualité extraordinaire. Alors à très bientôt Rome!

We were very happy there. I have already recommended to few of my friends. I listened to the CD they made: even thought I don't understand Italian, it is quite easy on my ears, nice work! :-) it would remind me of this nice trip and the apartment. and I am happy to have played your guitar during the trip, I always wanted to play guitar during my vacation except a guitar is too difficult to carry in the plane! We had a great time. Apartment was spacious. The owners are very trust worthy. We were very well treated. When we needed something, they were there for us.

La localización es perfecta, cerca de metro, las dos lineas que funcionan en roma, y muchos autobuses, tambien supermercado, tiendas etc.. El apartamento es perfecto,entero renovado hace menos de un año y se nota, calefacción, cuartos de baño, toallas, sábanas, cocina, limpieza etc... Los dueños encantadores, con toda clase de información de actividades,mapas, como llegar al apartamento etc... Volveríamos y recomendarias el apartamento a cualquiera gracias marco y sergio

Along with my wife and two teenagers, I found mok house to be first-rate. We greatly appreciated Marco's hospitality. The apartment actually exceeded our expectations. We thought it was perfect for a family for a week stay, allowing us to see Rome from a good location and have a comfortable place to return to every day. This New Yorker highly recommends it.
